The Winter Effect

Just another beautiful day in Wayanad gave me this photograph, which I would like to name as the Winter Effect. I got this picture from the bank of Karalad Lake near Kavumandam in Wayanad.

  2. Hi Lavanya,

Since you have not left any email-id/blogger id, I am replying here in the blog as comment.

Yes, August is a good time to visit, with some exceptions due to the Monsoon. By August, Monsoon is in the subsiding phase, but rivers will be still flooded to some extent, so that you may not be able to visit places like Kuruvadweep, and may not be able to go for trekking kind of activities. (During rainy season, Some of the tourist locations will have leeches so you may not be that comfortable)Still you will have a lot of places to visit.

The best time to visit Wayanad is November, December, January and February.
