St. Eunan's Cathedral on a Starry Night (8 hours of Star Trails)

Thanks a million Very Rev. Fr. Kevin Gillespie for the permission to photograph St. Eunan's Cathedral through the long night hours and for making the light arrangements and for posting and sharing the picture along with the Easter Message of this year. This picture of the Cathedral and star trails is a composite blend of roughly 2000 shots taken through 8 hours (from 10:00 pm to 06:00 am). The plan was in my mind for more than 2 years, and the final execution happened after many days of trials to check for the ambient city light, clear and dark skies, multiple trials for the perfect alignment of the North star Polaris behind the topmost cross of the Cathedral Spire which stands approximately 240 feet high. The perfect dark and clear skies occurred on Sunday, 27th March 2022. After many days of processing, stacking and fine tuning gave this final picture. Thank you Lord. Happy Easter!
