Jumeirah Beach

Let me share some more photos from Dubai. These pictures are taken from Jumeirah beach, one of the most attractive tourist locations of Dubai. Dinesh, my friend called up me on one of the weekend days and we planned for the trip. We started from Bur Dubai, got a taxi and started towards Jumeirah. Dinesh is my colleague in MindTree. The above picture is taken from the beach.

Burjalarab and Jumeirah beach hotel are the most attractive skyscrapers situated there and Burjalarab became the symbol of Dubai. You can see a helipad which is zoomed in and shot in the second picture. The size of the building will become clear in your mind when you compare the size of the coconut and palm trees which are seen near the base of the building. Burjalarab is very colorful in the night with the lightings, but we could not stay there for long. The illumination color changes and gives a visual feast for everybody who sees it in the night.

Both these constructions are attractive mainly by the shape in which they are constructed, as well as the luxury they provide for the tourists. You can see the marvelous shape of Jumeirah beach hotel in the above picture. The bright colors of the lightings in the night make it more beautiful.

In the above picture you can see the sea green. I used a polarizer to take the above picture to make the contrast more evident.

The wonderful designs made by shallow water in the sea and the lonely beach seen in the above pictures make the beach more beautiful. The beauty of the beach gave me a peaceful mind in the ‘busy Dubai’ and where the summer is extremely hot. We saw some guys enjoying water sports in the sea. You can see a guy enjoying the water scooter ride in the above picture.

The famous skyscrapers of Dubai can be seen in the above picture. Those buildings are situated in Sheik Saed Road, and the location where I stay at present is very near to these tall structures. One evening I need to go for a walk to take more pictures of these wonderful constructs.

Before we left the place we got this distant view of Burjalarab just before the sunset. We expected a beautiful sunset, but to my disappointment, the sun was not visible then. It was not because of clouds, but because of the polluted atmosphere and the hanging dust it created in the atmosphere. Even though the sky is not cloudy in Dubai, it always remains grey and many a days, it is smoggy kind of.
