On 5th February 2005, I went to meet my friend Sumod who is doing his graduate programme in biotechnology. He is doing his course at KristuJayanthi Collge, which is situated at Hennur, Bangalore. That night I stayed with him, and the next day afternoon, we were planning to watch a movie.
By that time we recieved a call from one of our friend Nithin who was our hostel mate during the time "1997-1999" in Tagore Hostel. He came along with Abhilash who was also our hostel mate. We were seeing each other after a long time gap of 6 years. We cancelled the movie programme and talked a lot. We talked a lot about the old time and we felt really nostalgic about our stay in Tagore hostel.
Nithin suggested about starting an email group for our hostel friends, in the hope of sharing and reuniting with the old friends. I took over the task and on the next day (7th Feb 2005) "Tagore1999", the yahoo group for my hostel friends was started. Within 10 days almost 10 members joined the group. Now we; the Tagorians are in search of our other friends, to bring them into the group and we are planning to conduct a gathering soon, somewhere in India which will be convenient for all.
