Milkyway and Coconut Milk

Milky Way and Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is produced by the milk extracted from the cosmic energy absorbed by Coconut Tree from the Milky Way. The above picture is the proof.
This picture is captured on 4th September 2018 from the Land of Coconut Trees (God's Own Country) when the sky cleared up in Payyampally - Wayanad after the devastating flood of Aug 2018. Such a worst flood in happened before almost a century ago in Kerala (1924), but this time, the flood level even rose higher than the markings made a century ago.

Northern Lights, Milky way, Andromeda & Jupiter in one frame - A Panorama from Horn Head, Donegal

  • Northern Lights - The pinkish/reddish glow towards the left half of the sky is the aftermath of a grand Northern lights display.
  • Milky Way - The Milky Way arches and connects to the orange glow of city lights towards the right (Lights from Dunfanaghy, Ireland)
  • The brightest spot on the right most edge just above the horizon is Jupiter.
  • Andromeda Galaxy – The diagonal bright patch just over the edge of the pole near my parked car in the image center is Andromeda Galaxy – another Island Universe!
The panorama spans almost 180 degree or more North to South and is stitched together from 18 individual images; the foreground is lit by the light from a mobile phone.

The individual images are clicked on 21st April 2018 around 2:30 am in the morning after a brilliant display of Northern lights from 12:00 am till 02:15 am. The pinkish-reddish glow of Aurora was still left over the Northern sky even after then.

Celestial Alignment - 4 Planets and Moon in One Click - 19th March 2018

Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Crescent Moon & Earth!

Mercury and Venus were easily seen by naked eye. The third planet in the click is Uranus which is difficult to spot with Naked eye. However the camera captured it and Stellarium software helped me to locate and mark it on the picture accurately. Uranus can be seen only if you enlarge the picture to 100% size on your screen.

Venus is the brightest dot after moon on the lower right near horizon. Mercury can be spotted a bit higher than Venus towards the right of Venus and fainter than Venus.

The fourth planet is obviously the blue planet – Earth :)

The first picture is the original one, and the second picture is with the planets annotated and the third one is the upper right part of moon expanded to full size to make it easy to spot Uranus.

The picture is taken from Mountain Top, Letterkenny.

Celestial Alignment - Mercury, Venus and Crescent Moon on 19th March 2018 over St. Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny

Venus can be seen as a dot directly over the spire of the Cathedral (St. Eunan's Cathedral, Letterkenny). Mercury can be seen as a fainter dot compared to Venus, and is the white spot over the tree near the right side of the Cathedral. Crescent moon need not be pointed out. And off course, the third planet in the picture is none other than Earth seen as the dark silhouette below the twilight sky

Sundog (parhelion), Ground Blizzard and Mt. Errigal
The Sundog (parhelion - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_dog) can be seen directly over the peak of the smaller mountain as a rainbow colored patch near the sunlit edge of the snow cloud.
The miniature Ground Blizzard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_blizzard) can be seen throughout the sunlit edges of Mount. Errigal and the smaller mountain covered in snow.

Eskimo In Ireland – Joshua the Igloo/Colosseum Maker

Eskimo In Ireland – Joshua the Igloo/Colosseum Maker
My kid demanded that he wanted to make Igloo after he learned from a TV show that bricks can be made out of snow using a box. We stopped at an area on the higher grounds where there was enough snow and Joshua chose it as his Igloo site. He made the bricks using a plastic container box (under his knee in the picture). This is what he made out. Of course, I helped him to make it fast we couldn’t be out there for hours in the freezing temperature with occasional freezing winds and snowfall.

The highest mountain that you see behind is Mt. Errigal

Is it an Igloo or Colosseum?
