I fear that scary side too much, because I do not know swimming :( I read that the water there (underneath Golden Gate bridge) is too cold, even if a suicide jumper survives the fall from the bridge, he /she will be either eaten by a shark or will die off from the cold temperature the nearly frozen water. I couldn't believe that the water was so cold. One our way back from SF to LA, we stopped by at a sea side town to have our lunch and got into the Pacific, the water was so cold that we had to jump out of it within two or three minutes. Our legs started aching within 30 seconds because of the extreme cold water. Such a cold sea water was something new to a Keralite.
Nice place to build a house. Yes, but there's a scary side to to tho' :)
