The first and third picture is taken using a circular polarizer attached to the built-in lens of PowerShot S2 IS. I felt a lot of improvement in the color contrast of the sky and water using the polarizer. These pictures are taken from near the Dubai Creek, from the Bur Dubai side. This place is very near to the hotel Ambassador where I was staying then.
Some birds spotted near the creek side. In fact there are a lot of birds near the Creek and in the entire Dubai even though the climate is hot. The sea next to Dubai feeds them what ever happens in the desert.
You can see the water drops sprayed from the peak of the bird in the third picture, when it tries to clean its food.
