Nature is green, but how much? So much!!! How many different green colors can you find there? Countless!!! 24bit or 32bit or any higher bitmap is not going to capture it, but only human eye, another wonderful creation of the creator. When we create anything we are partners with him, and those who destroy or kill never can be in his company.

Twilight
A scene from the one of the many Wayanad drives that I made in the past 6 years. The “Land of Humps” is making these beautiful drives to be “only a dream” by blocking all the roads from Karnataka to Kerala one by one. This picture is taken early in the morning before sunrise.

Roll Clouds???
Can I call these clouds as roll clouds??? While driving back from Wayanad towards Mysore in the evening through Gundlupetta just after crossing the forest, towards the right side, I got this view. This location is a very beautiful one and is good for film making. The Malayalam film – “Chandranudikkunna Dikkil” was done from somewhere nearby.
Every cloud has a silver lining
Every cloud has a silver lining. I got this picture while driving towards Nandi Hills from Bangalore.
Blue Sky
A blue sky view is very becoming rare and rare. Only those people living far away from cities can enjoy the true color of sky every day. The congested areas or so called developed areas will show only a grey sky in the day time and an orange or sodium vapor colored sky in the night.
Mars
I was trying to capture Mars using full digital and optical zoom during one of the closest Earth-Mars approach in 2009, and this is what I got.

Freedom
Can we call this picture Freedom? We are not really FREE just when we are ruled over by politicians and so called “baboos” run by money making mafias instead of some foreigners. (A falcon flying free)

Love Nature and Live Happily
You cannot live alone in a concrete house in a concrete jungle for the rest of your life. You may get mad and commit suicide even. But you will be able to live in nature for ever without any company. The nature will give you company for ever, and you will never feel alone. Protect the nature around you so that you may live happily. Beware of go green drama played by concrete jungle living humans. People believe that putting a CFL lamp instead of a traditional incandescent lamp have done their part towards protecting nature. Some others believe that painting the walls in green color will do it. Some others believe that writing somewhere “Save Tigers”, “Go Green”, “Save Nature” etc will do the purpose. How many have really thought about the cost and toxic materials involved in creation of a CFL lamp compared to the incandescent lamp or what we called the “electric bulb”? I look forward to go back and live in my village like place in my old age, where there won’t be 24 hours connectivity always. I want to feel the beauty of silence, nature and darkness in night. I have started doing my work towards it. I dream of getting out from a place like Bangalore, or any cities in the world where clogging is thought as development. What about you?

Crepescular Sunset
In this picture, you can see a few lights from the valley below Nandi Hills (80 kms from Bangalore) and a couple enjoying the crepuscular rays that was visible just after a spectacular sunset.
Last Sunset of 2009 from Varthur Kere
This picture (the last sunset of 2009 from Bangalore) is taken from the road that connects Varthur and Whitefield. The lake seen in this picture is VarthurKere (Kere means lake).
Flower Pots
Got these snap from the compound of a house near Myladipara in Kalpetta. Myladipara can be seen from the ground of S.K.M.J school , Kalpetta. The name Myladipara stands for “A rock where peacocks dance” in Malayalam. This rock which can be viewed from the school ground of S.K.M.J school is almost half a piece of a giant spherical globe, which is bigger than a usual hill. The perfect sphere shape makes it difficult to climb it from the bottom directly uphill. This rock is a favorite spot for picnics, as well as many have lost their lives being slipped and fallen from the top of the hill.
A structure can be seen on the top of the hill with a small dome over it, which is actually a place used by Jains for their annual festival. Jains gather together from various part of India (more specifically South India) to celebrate the annual event, and they are in the process of acquiring enough fund to build a beautiful temple on top of this rock, according to the locals.
